Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic a Success

Staff from Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital, student nurses from Great Basin College and community volunteers pose with hospital mascot “Ned the Needle” during the annual Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic last Saturday. A total of 701 people received a free flu shot at the event. Attendees were asked to donate canned food, and volunteers collected 1,557 pounds’ worth which was distributed to local food banks.
