Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital's experienced heart catheterization team performs procedures using balloons, stents and other devices to open blocked or repair damaged blood vessels of the heart or body. This often avoids the need for heart surgery.

Heart conditions can increase the risk of high blood pressure, heart attacks, stroke or loss of limbs.

In late 2023, Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital completed a total remodel and upgrade of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (or Cath Lab). State-of-the-art imaging technology was incorporated to give our interventional cardiologists the clearest view possible inside a patient's circulatory system. We are proud to provide the highest level of interventional cardiology services in the region.
