February 29, 2016-
Welcome Imran Zubair, M.D., FACC, the newest member of the Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital Medical Staff.
Dr. Zubair will be practicing at the new Northeastern Nevada Cardiology where his focus, along with Dr. Rodney Badger, will be to establish an interventional cardiology program to provide optimal care for patients suffering a heart attack. This program will improve patient outcomes, increase their chance of survival and eliminate the need for emergent transport to Reno or Salt Lake City.
Dr. Zubair completed Medical School, Internship, and Residency at the University of Alabama, and his Cardiology/EP Fellowship at the University of Utah.
Dr. Zubair is Board Certified in General Cardiology, Clinical Electrophysiology, and Interventional Cardiology. He has been practicing in the Salt Lake City area since 1992. Dr. Zubair and his wife, have two 21 year old twin boys and enjoy living in the western states because of the numerous outdoor activities available such as hiking, fly fishing, golf and skiing.
“Dr. Zubair is a great addition to our team at Northeastern Nevada Cardiology and our highly respected Medical Staff at NNRH. We were thrilled to be able to partner with such an experienced physician to bring Interventional Cardiology care to the northeastern Nevada region!” says Rick Palagi, CEO.
