Representatives from Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital (NNRH) recently presented a check for $5,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Elko.

Rusty Bahr, Boys & Girls Club CEO said “We are thrilled to partner with NNRH as we continue to provide services and camp programs to our members. We count on the generosity of our community to sustain daily operations at the Club and ensure that all children benefit from the Club experience”
NNRH donated during the Annual Support Campaign which allows the club to grant access to any youth regardless of their ability to pay. According to the National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies (NACCRRA) the average cost of after-school care in the United States is nearly $5,000 per year.

“The Boys & Girls Club of Elko provides services and programs that are tremendously impactful to the youth of our community. It has been a privilege to partner with the Clubs this year and we are looking forward to a long-term partnership” said Rick Palagi, CEO at NNRH.
