2/9/2012

Make it Your Mission to Fight Heart Disease in Women
Elko, Nevada – Heart disease is still the No. 1 killer of women, causing more deaths among women than all forms of cancer.
Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital will help to raise awareness by celebrating “Wear Red” day on Valentine’s Day, Tuesday, Feb 14th.
Women (and men) are invited to visit with volunteers in the hospital lobby between 8am and 5pm on Tuesday the 14th. Visitors will find literature and health assessments designed to identify and prevent heart disease in women.
Each woman who completes a heart health assessment will receive her choice of a “Wear Red” pin or a red rose.
